I hold a master degree in History (Ghent University, 2005), and a master degree in Urban Planning (Ghent University, 2006).
I have been working as a policy advisor on sustainable mobility and education for sustainable development, and as a planner and project leader for cycling infrastructure for the West-Flanders and East-Flanders province administrations.
I am currently conducting research at VUB - Cosmopolis Centre for Urban research, on transport justice. The research focuses on the role of demand-responsive public transport in tackling transport poverty in low-density areas of Flanders.
